The problem
The public site is fine. The daily work is still a group text, a desktop-only schedule, and a spreadsheet named “FINAL-final.” Staff are on their phones. Managers cannot see the same numbers.
How I approach it
I build a private tool around that job. Role-based access, a phone-first layout, and only the screens the business uses. It can sit beside a marketing site or stand on its own.

Questions
Can you build a custom business application?
Yes. Portals, dashboards, and internal apps are a core service. They are quoted from the Custom range when the tool is the project, or added when a marketing site needs a private side.
Will my customers see internal numbers?
No. Manager desks, payroll, and private chats stay behind the role that should see them.
Do these replace a website?
Sometimes the tool is the product and the public site is short. Sometimes you need both. We decide that in the consultation.
